Brightview Danvers Associates Form Team for Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk on Sunday, September 21, 2008
Danvers, MA – Brightview Danvers, a new rental retirement and assisted living community located at 50 Endicott Street, will have a team of associates and residents walking to support the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk on Sunday, September 21, 2008 at Brickstone Square in Andover, Massachusetts.
“Please join us in the fight against this deadly disease, as nearly all of us know someone who has been affected with Alzheimer’s,” said Deb Stanton, Brightview Danvers Wellspring Director. Mrs. Stanton put together a community team who will walk at the Memory Walk. She adds, “I lost my own grandmother to this disease and know first hand the devastation of families who must cope with Alzheimer's. Money raised by our walking participants will be used to aid in Alzheimer's research, care and support. At Brightview Danvers we are dedicated in raising money to aid in finding prevention methods, treatments and a hopeful cure for this disease."
The goal of the Brightview Danvers team is to raise $2,000.00 to support the local Alzheimer's Association. The Alzheimer's Association provides consultation, information, referrals and support programs to those affected by Alzheimer's on the North Shore. The team is holding a large yard sale at the community in Danvers on September 13, 2008, to benefit the Alzheimer Association, and support the team of walkers.
